Welcome 2,
cut and paste golden cross into the search box at the top of this page. Golden cross's can be anywhere not just in Moving Averages. Indicators that come with two lines that cross can become a "golden cross".
There are ton's of helpful talent on this site. I've learned a lot here and you can too.

Look under the Examples tab, and about the 15th Example is code for Golden Cross.
However, SF does not have the ability to forecast when an upcoming golden cross could or would occur...

Testing a few years ago found that the "true" golden cross of moving averages was the EMA(13) and EMA(48.5).

@Snap,
A question: did discover this during backtesting or was it a published theory? It is a big jump from 50/200 to 13/48.5. If I could ever solve the mysteries of Edgerater, this would be a great project.

I've found better results in pick a moving average or a Exponential Moving Average say the 13 day Exponential Moving Average , or 21 day Exponential Moving Average. Yes some of the popular cross's like 50 day moving or 20 day moving work also.
First thing is what are the markets doing like
SPY- S&P 500
QQQ- The Nasdaq
IWN- Russell
and what's VXX doing. Don't be bullish in a falling market.
