Week 2
Total Buys 22
Wins 16
Loss 1
Unsold 5 [ See note]
Profit Only 132.64
Loss Only -5.4
Total P&L 245.22. [ Since Start]
So mistake I made this week is that I woke up one hour after market open and so I did not enter my 2% exit on time. On account of this i missed on four more wins and they are still in the unsold category. So wins should technically have been 20 out of 22 , so lesson learnt

THANK YOU, redversa721 for continuing to share your TRO-S-CROCK-POT-2-0 trading experience.
Much appreciated, and congratulations on your successful experiments.
in xarlor's CROCK POT experiment to help kossvet (Robert), xarlor came up with a suggestion to
initiate a position near Friday close instead of Monday at the open. This suggestion may mitigate
some of the risks of missing the open.
I couldn't remember who and where I saw this, but someone suggested it might be easier and safer
to learn and experiment with CROCK POT as 0.2% a day instead of 1% a week.
Best.

Hi!
I believe Cheese is referring to this post:
https://www.stockfetcher.com/forums/General-Discussion/The-Rumpled-One-crock-pot-filter/149574
To clarify, it was kossvet's idea to enter at the close of Friday and sell Monday. My idea was to set a 1% trailing stop-loss at 2% profit to possibly capture some more gains.

Thanks Cheese, I will continue this experiment and see what happens for the next 8 weeks.
It's a good point regarding entering on friday and then setting up exit positions. I have to manually backtest it thgh before I can start off on that endeavor.
Thanks all for the positive encouragement.

Xarlor. yeah good point , some of these stocks do have a decent run up during the day. so not a bad idea. Just that it will be feasible for someone having a lot of screen time to punch in the TSL when stock crosses 2% gain.

To:
redversa721, VenturaTrader, SAFeTRADE, snappyfrog, ron22, Mactheriverrat, xarlor,
and all people who posted about crock pot over the years
First of all, thank you again for your help on my crock pot learning journey.
I just want to share my learning experience, mainly for a laugh,
but who knows this may help some future generation of crock pot newbies.
I've learned a few things from reading the posts and trying my hand at crock pot trading:
* crock pot trading may be simple, but it is risky and it's not easy for me as a learner.
* Reading TRO's STAT SCAN + MTC + RFR + crock pot threads = better understanding of crock pot
(just like getting a walkthrough of how a car or a computer works)
* Whoever suggested learning to trade crock pot to make 0.2% daily made a great suggestion.
So essentially learning crock pot trading = scalping or day trading crock pot.
* The posts with warnings and suggestions about loss and risk are very important,
whether trading crock pot or anything else.
Again, a big thank you to all of you !

@redversa721,
A few questions if you don't mind.
1.. For week1 of your testing you indicated you had invested about $5K
a. Are you investing nearly the same amount in each position in a given week?
b. Are you increasing the total amount you have to invest with the gains you've accrued?
c. Is the total amount available for a given week's trades reduced due to the positions you held over?
2. For the 2 positions you held over from week 1, how did they turn out?
3. Did you run a Week 3 of tests last week?
Thanks,
Ed S.
