Are you wanting a scan to draw the trendlines or just asking how people draw them? The definition is that it touch at least 3 points. I use candle bodies and others use wicks.

======================================

I didn't know you could do that.
What's the written filter for that?

@ snappyfrog,
For any stock > 90
volume > 500000
(hypothetically) from 200 day low to 200 day high

You used to be able to DRAW trendlines on the chart, but that feature doesn't seem to be working anymore.

The moveable line drawing tool is still available on the SF charts as I just used it.
If yours doesn't work its probably time to contact the SF Support.

karennma,

Were you looking for something that automatically draws trendlines for you?
This site is having a sale of its RAMP 9 until this Saturday Dec 5, 2020
$249 - $100 = $149 for 1 year (Gold level, real time)

http://www.nebadawn.com

You only get 10 free scans, and then you have to decide whether to buy or not..

Does anybody here use RAMP 8 or RAMP 9?
What is your experience with the app and customer support?

Trade well,

@ Cheese,
That was EZ.
Only problem is, after the scan, the symbols are there, but not the charts.
The instructions say the charts will pop up after the scan, but they didn't.
So I'm sitting here looking at the scan results - with no charts.
:>(
EDIT;
I like that BITCOIN chart. Geesh!

@karennma,

Not a computer expert. I an guessing that you nay have some conflicts
somewhere in your hardware and software settings and installations.
Were there any changes directly or indirectly to what you;ve been using?

I had no problems at all with the free trials It was easy.
I haven't bought because customer support completely ignores my purchase inquiry.
Wut? Huh? Go figure.

Here are some links that may be helpful to you:

http://www.nebadawn.com/help-files-for-Ramp9/Trendline-Scanner-Help.html
http://www.todayscharts.com/videos/MTF-BobCharts/MTF-BobCharts.html

You will like it more once you've figured out your systems kinks.
Maybe some computer experts like Ed S can chime in and help you solve
your charting problems.

Best
