Is this prediction based on anything, or is it your gut feeling? Given how overheated the markets have been, it is just as plausible to predict it going to 10,000.
Actually, I am not disagreeing with you, as I think the current administration will not let a double dip happen, no matter what it takes. Nonetheless, I would like to see any analysis you have done to validate your prediction.

I'm working on my stuff over @ garsworld.
I finally got my watchlist set up, and looked at all my charts on his pre-programmed platform.
Every single chart moved in sync ...
Guys we know ONE thing for sure ... this market is manipulated.
The movements are SYNCHRONIZED ... just like tropical fish, or swimmers or skaters.
Deliberate ... in sync ... moving in tandem.
When I looked at my charts, I came to a SECOND realization.
The PPT ain't gonna let this market go down.
It's just NOT gonna happen.
That drop this morning was the BEGINNING of the next leg UP!

You may be correct. I've used the ^VXX ILO ^VIX on mondays to gauge the market. Level 3 data suggests MMs are struggling to make a market @ $22.15 on the VXX. OBVol tumbling on both VIX & VXX, ......VERY BULLISH SIGNS.

Someone has to be on the opposite side of the trade and that was me today, took it on the chin in a big way...we will see if this market is not just suckering more people into long position before dropping the guillotine.
