6/17/2021 12:52:00 PM here is a strategy that I checked out. The idea is to get real good quality stocks that are undervalued and have hit a sudden price pressure. I am going to keep posting in this thread and see how it goes over the next few years. So that's worrying why this does not have any picks from the year before and also what if the last three years are the exception. Also the TSL for this one is too high at 80% for me. |

I think financial metrics is sorely lacking in SF at moments like this. Also if someone can replicate this in any other software and show us the backtest before 2019 that would be great. |

I created the FinViz screen above using very limited features available to non-paid guests That FinViz screen has zero value, zero credibility, and huge risk. So far, it picked one microcap in China. Very risky and untrustworthy. Problem with using funnymentals to trade and/or invest is that we blindly trust accountees who bend the rules to please their CEOs in order to keep their jobs. Think Nortel, Enron, WorldComm in countries like USA and Canada. Even in developed countries, from time to time, executives jumped out the windows or parked their cars on active rail tracks. In countries like China and India, it could be worse. Some companies keep three sets of books. |

6/18/2021 12:41:51 PM That's a great caveat Cheese. Also with regard to the finviz screener, some of the parameters i screen for is >0 and < 1, which is unavailable in the free finviz screener. I have the elite version which I really seldom use that allows custom and range screeners. So it's a good point that everyone who is following any recommendations do not use the finviz screener unless you have the elite product where you can further enhance and make it similar to what I have in original post. |
