Good point, snappyfrog. There is good and/or bad news every day. We have to deal with it the best that we can.

concerning fsdax and other mutual funds, ,if u use yahoo finance , type in the mutual fund,
then click on "performance" , scroll down you will see quarterly performance ratings, you could probably build yourself a heck of a portfolio by going through a fund family and finding the winners quarterly, and react so.
I studied this 15- 20 years ago, if I had stuck with it …….

I just remembered back around 04, 05 , first quarter winner was energy, second real estate, third any bear fund, fourth, any fund but bear. I think those have changed.

by the way I think I was laughed at on this forum for thinking anything behaved quarterly . after studying for years and with the help of this forum, I think I am ready to trade, I made around three trades since 2003.
I was frequently lambasted for "not having skin in the game" , why would anyone care what I did with my money. I wanted to make sure.

klynn55, The only opinion of you that matters is your own opinion. We all have our own style of investing. As long as you learn from your good and bad decisions, then you will become a better investor/trader.

klynn55,
In the "quarterly" smart department, you are in good company with Kevin_in_GA and davesaint86
who gave us their "63 days lookback".
