Nibor

excellent summary. You must be a genius to be able to make sense of my rambling posts. obviously numbers are clear but still to crystallize facts out of months of posts is stunning.

I will link in a google spreadsheet and keep it updated on a monthly basis so everyone can see what's going on.

Also you zoned in right where you mentioned to take a second position.

When a unsold stock comes up again in a following week, I add a 10% position. So far I have been able to exit at a profit a couple of times doing that

I got to run to my yoga class, but will read and understand your post in more detail. Happy weekend

THANK YOU, redversa721 for continuing to share your experience,
and Ed S for helping us make sense of the strings of results.

redversa721, would this help you manage your unsold positions? I saw some people in
other forums discuss how they may make use of this to unload and reload:
As you well know, investors and traders use December to sell their unperforming positions
for tax reasons. Additionally, this year, some super rich also sell some of their star performers
in Nov-Dec 2020 to avoid higher taxes in 2021.

Good luck with all your trades.

I assume that were using weekly charts with this filter. Can someone give me a short run down on using this filter with weekly charts.

Thanks in advance.

John (Mac)

I shall defer your question to redversa721 and Ed S nibor100 who actually trade CROCK POT 2.0

But among the multitude of CROCK POT, someone suggested to trade the filter results using our own favorite ways
as opposed to using the CROCK POT rules.

So I've added your WEEKLY WMA idea to the trading and sorting rules that redversa721 and Ed S have generously given us.

Your WEEKLY WMA idea may add value with potential trends, turning points, head and tail winds,
while also staying true to the valuable info from redversa721 and Ed S nibor100.

My two cents. GLTA.

Thank you Cheese.
I have been looking at weekly charts for some time now but I don't want to muddy up this thread going off in different directions. But I am interested in weekly charts .

Week 14
Total Buys 14
Wins : 14
Loss
Unsold :

weekly p&l
Gain Only: 47.47 [See summary]
Loss Only:

Total:
Total Gain : 1555.58 [ Since Start]
Total Loss : -294.45 [Since Start]
Net : 1261.13 [ Since Start]

Week 1 unsold : 0
Week 2 unsold : 2
Week 3 unsold : 1
Week 4 unsold : 1
Week 5 Unsold : 0
Week 6 Unsold : 2
Week 7 Unsold : 0
Week 8 Unsold : 0
Week 9 Unsold : 0
Week 10 Unsold : 7
Week 11 Unsold : 11
Week 12 Unsold : 6
Week 13 Unsold : 5
Week 14 Unsold : 0

Win % : 84.19
Loss % : 4.52
Unsold % : 11.29

Summary:
Week started on a strong note. I was leery going in Monday morning [based on past three weeks of strong open] , but week turned ok.
Theere were also quite a few stocks that came up this week that I was already holding, so I just added 10% of what I had
Since I had about 37 unsold stocks, just in November, i wanted to reduce my risk profile and so only added each stock at about $150 / stock instead of the typical 260-300 / stock the past weeks. As you can the reduced profit this week
Number of stocks were also only 14, since there were about 8 or 9 existing stocks that I just added 10%
lot of week 13 stocks were sold at a profit and I sold off one or two at 2.5% loss.

So an excellent beginning to December.

THANKS AGAIN, redversa721
Your win rates are impressive and they continue to rise.
It takes a really good trader to do what you do.
Hopefully, the Santa Claus rally will give you more tail wind.
Good luck.

What if we build the weekly watch lists using the CROCK POT 2.0 filter from redversa721
+ test inputs from nibor100

and then we use the weekly chart filter from Mactheriverrat to help with the stock pickings
(in addition to using the CROCK POT stats)

Just a thought, and my two cents, as usual.

GLTA.

I haven't had a chance to post results this week. End of year work craziness. but quick summary, since I woke up an hour late, i could only fill 10 out of 17 [woke up at 7.15 PST instead of my usual 5.30 am, been reading the witcher series ebooks and that kept me up till about 4.30 am and thus late start last week]. if I woke up on time, it would have been 14 or 15 sold. So stark lesson learnt

Put in my orders now for tomorrow and going to hit the sack to not make the same mistake.
