Here is how I use the CCI for swing trading.
First I want to find stocks on the weekly chart that CCI(30) crosses above 100. As long as it stays above -100 it is considered in an uptrend. Obviously, the higher the better.
Example of F (Ford)
Next, as I find these stocks I put them in a Watchlist. I try to keep this "trending" watchlist limited to 10 stocks to swing trade over and over until the trend ends.
The way I find where to make my swing trades is to change to a daily bar chart and shorten the CCI to 22 bars. When the daily climbs above 100, I make an entry and make my exits when it crosses back below the 0 line.
Here is the example of F on the daily chart showing 4 trades since Oct 2020 when the weekly chart showed it was in a good uptrend.

Yes I put the weekly picks I like in a watchlist and then run a scan on the watchlist
to find the daily swing picks here in SF.
To embed the image, click on the chart then click on the green share button
on the top far right. You can copy the link to put in another forum outside SF
or the link for sharing in these forums.

I haven't wrapped my head around seasonality yet.
I'm looking forward to what you come up with on that.

@ klynn55
I think you are smarter than your nemesis, and you are blessed with the gift of
uncovering trading systems.
I suggest that you study sammyn's and davesaint86's TQQQ ideas and take your time
to read the following thread thoughtfully between the lines:
https://www.stockfetcher.com/forums/Stock-Picks/Any-good-systems-for-TQQQ/145281
With your smart and your gift, you should be able to create a smarter system
than your nemesis. Leave emotions at the door. Just pursue excellence.
It shouldn't be difficult for you to see his flaws..
Best wishes.
